Boys Toys!

Welcome Back!
Since the much publicised xenophobic attackes took place on 23rd May, andy has been part of a mediation team working towards the reintegration of the internally displaced people back into Lwandle. It has been a slow and difficult time with very low levels of ownership being taken.

Sindi still doing great work!
Since moving to work with Bell Valley Initiative (another local NGO we work with) Sindi has continued to visit those in need in her local community. Bell Valley care in particular for orphans living in Granny or Child headed households.
They do an amazing work!
American Team Visit
In July we had a great team visit from USA. We were able to get them involved in serving many of the projects here that we support. Thanks gang – you were GREAT!
GET FIT NOT FAT
In July 2008 there was a National Womens Day. Our local theme was to focus on women not taking care of their health – hence the “GET FIT NOT FAT” campaign. It caused quite a stir as they completed a 5km walk around the township!
